Greater Gould Optimist Club offers Pop Warner Football, Cheer and Dance, Homework Assistance, Youth and Senior Citizen Computer Literacy, Teen Job Coaching with MDEAT, Soccer Program, Summer Dance Camp and Gardening.

The mission of the Greater Goulds Optimist Club is to provide affordable educational, cultural and recreational programs to economically disadvantaged families in Goulds and the surrounding areas.

The Greater Honors Optimist Club offers a year round After School program consisting of homework assistance, reading, physical fitness, computer literacy training, community service projects/events and social skills development; Summer Day Camp in partnership with Miami-Dade County Parks & Open Spaces/Goulds Park, baseball, Job Coach/Job
The Greater Honors Optimist Club offers a year round After School program consisting of homework assistance, reading, physical fitness, computer literacy training, community service projects/events and social skills development; Summer Day Camp in partnership with Miami-Dade County Parks & Open Spaces/Goulds Park, baseball, Job Coach/Job Readiness, Summer Dance Camp, Summer Band Camp, t-ball, basketball, football, dance and cheerleading. Our Goulds March Against Crime Committee is actively involved in decreasing crime in our community. The Goulds March Against Crime Committee has held several marches, events and rallies in Goulds highlighting the need to stop the violence, especially among our youth.
